Michigan Interesting Fact and Goodbye

On October 14, 1960, presidential candidate John F. Kennedy visited the University of Michigan.  JFK's visit and impromptu speech at the campus led to a student movement that contributed to the founding of the Peace Corps. Over 200,000 Americans have joined the Peace Corps since 1961.
