New Mexico Historical

The "Clovis culture" is a prehistoric Indian culture that dates back to the end of the last glacial period, roughly 13,500 - 13,000 calendar years ago. This Indian culture had distinct tools made of bone and ivory which are referred to as the "Clovis points".

I had a great time "visiting" New Mexico. While living out west, I went on a camping trip to New Mexico. I loved the culture and the beauty in Santa Fe. While in Santa Fe, I went to the Loretto Chapel. The "miraculous" stairway there was beautiful and definitely thought provoking. At the end of this entry I've posted 2 of my own pictures from my trip in the early 90s.
