Tippecanoe Battlefield, a National Historic  Landmark

The Battle of Tippecanoe - November 7, 1811.  Just a few miles north of Lafayette, Indiana...Native Americans fought the United States forces and lost the Midwestern lands they had roamed on for thousands of years.
