Tennessee Sports
Beginning in 1960 as the Houston Oilers in Texas, the team was moved to Tennessee in 1996. The Tennessee Titans are one of the few football franchises still owned by the founding family.
Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt University was named after it's first benefactor, Cornelius Vanderbilt.
The "Commodores" are a NCAA Division 1 school.
