Hello Maine!

Ahhh, Maine. The first time I went to Maine was to Kennebunkport with my two older sisters. It was also the first time I had been to the ocean.
I have visited Maine quite a few times since I moved back to Vermont 10 years ago.  In fact...my husband and I eloped to Wells in 2006, with our 4 grown kids!
Okay, enough about me...back on the road...
Maine became the 23rd state in the Union in March of 1820.
