John Brown's Cabin in Osawatomie.  John Brown was born in Connecticut in 1800. "Old Brown of Osawatomie" was an American abolitionist and a believer of the "equality of the races". In 1855 he and  five of his sons moved to Kansas to help win freedom for the state. He was hung in 1859.
