A cross between Bing and Van cherries, Rainier cherries were developed in 1952 at Washington State University. They were named after Mount Rainier.
Geoducks (pronounced gooey-duck) are the largest burrowing clams in the world. Their shells range from 6"-8" in length. Their necks are so long that they don't fit inside their shells. They have few predators, therefore the life span of the Geoduck is around 140 years.
