Wisconsin Sports and University
The Green Bay Packers are the only "non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team" in the U.S. They are also the 3rd oldest franchise...starting back in 1919.
The University of Wisconsin had 17 students attend their first class on February 5, 1849.
