FL Attraction

It's hard to pick just one attraction for Florida, but I have fond memories of the Kapok Tree Inn restaurants that were a thriving chain of restaurants popular in the 70s-80s. The Ft. Lauderdale site was the one that I loved to go to when I lived there in the early 80s.

The Kapok Tree restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale has been turned into a wildlife and wetlands refuge center. When the center opened in 2008, they released a Great Blue Heron to mark the occasion.
