Minnesota Sports

In October of 1987, we adopted the cutest 6 week old puppy, we named him...Kirby Puckett.
The team we know today as the Minnesota Twins, originated in Kansas City in 1894. They moved to Washington, D.C. in 1901 and were named the Washington Senators/Washington Nationals. In 1960, the team was moved to Minnesota where the Twins began their first season in 1961.

The Minnesota Vikings joined the National Football League in 1960. They too started their season in 1961. The Vikings are one of only five NFL teams to win 15 games during the regular season.
