Lucille Desiree Ball was born in Jamestown, N.Y. on August 6th, 1911.  Lucy was an American actress, comedienne, model, film and television producer. She was the star of her own sitcoms. Lucy was considered the most popular and influential stars in the United States during her lifetime. In 1962 Lucille became the first woman to run a major television studio, "Desilu".

West was an American actress, singer, playwright, screenwriter, comedienne and most notably a sex symbol.
