The University of Vermont and Sports
I try not to feature the same Esty shops more than once...but, when I originally featured John Stoeckley's print illustration of Vanderbilt University (3/2/21), I told him that I looked forward to when he did one of UVM. Well, here it is!
The University of Vermont was originally founded as a private college in 1791. They hired their first president in 1800, he was the only teacher for 7 years!
During the 1930s - 1960s the Civilian Conservation Corps cut ski trails throughout the various mountains in the state.
