U.S. Space & Rocket Center (Huntsville, Alabama): opened in 1970, and is home to one of the Earth's largest space museums. It holds thousands of artifacts, including a rock brought back from the moon!
Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum (Birmingham, Alabama): a collection of approximately 1200 vintage/modern motorcycles and racecars, dated from 1902 and on.
