AZ Historical Events

Shoot out at O.K. Corral - On October 26, 1881, three men died in a 30 second shoot out at the O.K. Corral inTombstone, AZ.  The shoot out became well known due to the battle being between outlaws and the town authorities.


Prescott, Arizona -  On July 14th, 1900 a block known as “Whiskey Row” was destroyed by  fire. Whiskey Row got it's name because of the amount of saloons that lined the streets.  The rebuilding of the block began only a few days later and some of the historic buildings still remain today.
